Located in the southwest of Grenada, 8 miles from the capital of St Georges, Madame Jardin sits on a gently elevated position overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The house has five en suite double bedrooms, all with balconies and beautiful sea views. Designed by local architect Nigel Renwick (TVA), the aim was to maximise this beautiful location in a style that combines the elegance of a Caribbean Plantation House with all contemporary comforts. The accommodation is divided between the Main House, which can sleep up to six people, and the adjacent Guest House which sleeps four people. Because of this layout, the property is equally suited to both large and small groups. Everything about Madame Jardin has been designed to maximise the enjoyment of this superb location. There is a large pool for lounging around and swimming, and a gentle stroll down through the tropical gardens will lead you straight onto a stunning white, sandy beach, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. A spacious covered verandah with a generous seating and dining area overlooks the pool, garden and sea. The expansive outside terrace is paved in shell stone, and all the furniture is stylish and relaxed. The ethos behind Madame Jardin was to create a cool, spacious and comfortable home from home. Contemporary Caribbean colours have been used in the furnishings and decor, while Italian tiles have been laid throughout the interior. The indoor sitting room has a flat screen TV, DVD player and comprehensive sound system, switchable to the outside terrace if required. The house has its own Wi-Fi, and is equipped with ceiling fans and air conditioning throughout. The kitchen is designed to be practical and spacious and is equipped with everything you could need. It opens via a door and breakfast bar onto the outside dining area, where there is also a gas BBQ. The double extendable dining table can seat up to 10 people in total comfort. Madame Jardin provides the perfect combination of casual elegance and practical Caribbean living.
