Similar to its neighbour Mustique, Isle a Quatre has an act in place passed by St. Vincent and the Grenadines Parliament – the Quatre Isle Resort Act No. 38 of 2006 – which offers a 20-year tax holiday, incentives, exemptions, and residency to the Company and investors. This is dependent on establishing a first-class resort with hotel, luxury villas and basic infrastructure. Any buyer will be authorized to do his/her own development plan. The Government has agreed in principle to vary concessions to begin with a new agreement. This model has also been successfully established on nearby Canouan island, home of 5 star Mandarin Oreintal development and golf course.
