The Island

Grenada

Carriacou is situated 20 miles northeast of Grenada, latitude 12.5 degrees, with an area of 13 square miles and has a population of about 7000 making it the largest and most southern of the chain of islands in the Grenadines. Carriacou is safely located outside of the hurricane belt.

The Grenadines
